Simple Sentences

Simple Sentence A simple sentence has one subject and one predicate.A simple sentence is a group of words that forms a complete though. Simple sentence are different from other sentences.

Complex Sentence

Complex SentenceAcomplex sentenceis a sentence that combines one independent clause with at least one dependent clause. Aclauseis a group of words that has both a subject and a verb. Anindependent clauseforms a complete thought. Adependent clause, also called asubordinating clause, does not form a complete thought and is dependent upon an independent clause for meaning.
