MINISTRY OPPORTUNITIES //Help with Childcare at Celebrate Recovery God has been doing amazing things in our Celebrate Recov-ery Ministry, however, with the increase in attendance we now have a need for additional volunteers to help with childcare. We need volunteers that are not a part of the program so that parents are able to leave their children in childcare to attend both large and small group. If you would like to help out in this way, please contact Dawn White at 541.905.5743. //Prayer Chain Emails If you would like the prayer chain emails sent directly to your inbox, please sign up via the Communication Card, on our web site, or within our app. Prayer requests and praises can be submitted to the [email protected], on the Communication Card, on our web site, within our app, or call Mary Burton at 541.401.2613.

ITEMS NEEDED FOR HYGIENE BAGSA few times a year our Jesus’ Disciples class collects items for hygiene bags to be given to the homeless in our area. Currently, the following items are needed: combs, razors, bandaids, wash cloths, quart size ziploc bags, and q-tips. Extras needed for kids are small cars/toys and barrettes. If you would like to donate one or more of these items to help minister to the homeless, items can be brought on Sunday morning and left in the wooden barrel in the lobby. For more information, please contact the church office at 541.258.7893.

Approximately every other month, we offer our Pizza with the Pastors luncheon. This lunch is offered on a Sunday, right after our second service, from 12:00-12:45 PM in our Fellowship Hall. Lunch is free of charge and you will have an opportunity to meet our Elders and staff and hear a little bit of their personal stories. If you are new to Southside in the last few months, this is a great first step in getting connected into the body of Christ. Children of all ages are welcome. Our next Pizza with the Pastors luncheon will be offered this coming September. The specific date and time will be announced in the next few weeks.
