    Holi Celebrations with Colorful Gifts!!

    India is rightly named as land of festivals because of diverse cultural festival celebrated all across theCountry for the religious and mythological stories associated with it. Among all those festivals, theJoyous, enthusiastic and colorful festival is Holi. Infact, it is much awaited by everyone even thoughThe way it is celebrated is different in different parts of India.

    According to Hindu Mythology, in Vaishnavism, Hiranyakashipu was a king of demons believed to beperpetual as Brahma blessed his demand that he will not die "during day or night; inside the home or

    outside, not on earth or in the sky; neither by a man nor an animal; neither by astra nor by shastra" forhis long penance. The king became arrogant wanted everyone to worship him. When Prahlada, his own

    son, started worshipping Lord Vishnu, the king did everything to kill his own son. But failed every time!Eventually, he made him sit on pyre in the lap of Holika demon sister, who also could not die because

    she had a boon preventing her from being burned by fire.

    Everyone was dumbstruck to see the opposite as Prahlada came alive from that pyre whereas the Holikawas burnt. It is believed that reverence of Lord Vishnu by Prahlada won against the devil and demon.Since then, the Holi is celebrated as festival against all evils by burning woods and praying to god to killdevil in our self.

    On the next day, Dulhandi is celebrated with joy and gusto where everyone throws color of joy andhappiness on everyone presenting it as symbol of togetherness and brotherhood with every human.

    All over in India, all the family members celebrate is together with colors and none the less, the mouthwatering Gujiya with Bhang. Drenched in colorful water, everyone forgets about negativities in life andcelebrate it dancing in music.

    In Mathure, the birth place of Lord Krishna, Lath Mar Holi is celebrated which is quiet popular. Thefestival is celebrated for 16 days (until Rangpanchmi) in commemoration of the divine love of Radha for

    Krishna. The Bhabhi (Sister-in-Law) beat their Dewar (Brother-in-Law) with stick and everyone throwcolors on them.

    Since, the Phagun month is already started, and so as the wait for this colorful festival. Nowadays,special concern is shown on using organic colors instead of synthetic color. Nobody wants to spoil thefestival mood and so is the usage of good Quality Organic colors in suggested. None the less, the Gujiyais customary to eat and begin a new life with sweets. People gift and celebrate the festival and thefestival reflects the rich cultural heritage of Indian Sub Continent.
