Your Opinions CountWere you taught that children are to be seen
not heard? This practice gives children the impression that they have nothing valuable to
offer. Your ideas are worthy so voice them and don’t hold them back.
Retrain Yourself to Accept Mistakes
Try Something NewExperiment with different
activities that will help you get in touch with your talents. Give yourself a 21-day challenge to do something different every day. Then take pride in new
skills you develop.
Walk FasterIf you walk quickly you have energy and purpose. If someone
tries to walk with you quietly step up the pace a bit. Chances are they will struggle to keep up with you. That’s the idea!
Let Go of the PastFree yourself from past experiences that hold you back from enjoying life to the fullest. There may be deep seeded memories or traumatic experiences. It’s ok, to seek professional help. It’s your life to live.
Compliment Other People
When we think negatively about ourselves, we often project that feeling on to others in the form of insults and gossip. Refuse to engage in gossip. Instead,
make an effort to compliment those around you.
Sit In the Front RowIf you are in a class or at a presentation, sit in the front row. People who sit in the back are either late or don’t want to be noticed. They have poor self-confidence. You don’t.
Stand Up to Ask a Question
Be an Expert at SomethingWhether it’s a task at work, a hobby, a natural or learned talent, work it for all you can. Be the “go-to” person on the topic. Volunteer your knowledge to help others understand to improve. This is your contribution to the universe.
