Season  Report

Despite   the   fact   that   I   was   truly   limited   with   my   doings   this   season   (last  exams  and  master   thesis  of  my  engineering  studies),   I  was  happy   to  get  at  least   some   shots   and   achievements.   With   my   friends   we   still   had   good  sessions  and  fun  events/contests  and  exciting    trips  from  Germany  to  Austria,  Switzerland,  France  and  Norway.  On  the  other  hand  I  didn’t  have  the  chance  to  follow  up  my  passion  for  video  productions.  My  time  schedule  didn’t  allow  me  to  cut  video  edits  of  all  the  footage  which  is  now  on  my  hard  disc.  There  will  be  coming  some  15  sec  short  clips  of  some  of  these  shots.  

Unfortunately  there  was  not  enough  snow  to  operate  our  own  ski-­‐lift  in  the  garden.  Therefore  our  funpark  could  not  reach  last  year’s  dimensions.    

Regarding  my  trick   list  and  progress   I  am  super  stoked  on  finally  mastering  the  barrel  role  with  my  speedrider.   In  the  snowkite  section  I  finally  handled  some  handlepasses  ;)  And  for  my  original  

Trips  France

Together  with   Ranja   Schlotte   (Gaastra   &   Picture   team),   we  went   to   the   snowkite  masters  2016   again.   This   year   I   was   only   able   to   hit   the   5th   place   but   still   I   could   progress   my  megaloops  on  the  snow  with  some  great  footage:

Trips  Switzerland

For   the   1st   time   together   with   Flysurfer   I   joined  the  FRETZKA  Freeride  festival  (powered  by  Trübes  Bier).  Beside  nice  freeride  sessions  and  coachings  and  parties  we  offered  a  snow  kite  test  point.

This  year  I  competed  for  the  2nd  time  at  one  of  the  hardest  snowkite  races  the  RedBull  Ragnarok  with  350  participants  and  100  km  of  distance.  Fighting  through  barely  all  kinds  of  weather  I  was  super  stoked  to  make  it  on  the  7th  place!

ISPO  2016  Beside  a  fun  contest  on  a  wake  cable  on  the  snow,  together  with  my  roommates  we  draw  quite  a  bit  of  attention  due  to  our  uniform  ;)

I   was   lucky   winning   the   “BOGNER   SUP   on   fire”  Photocontest  -­‐  shooting  the  2016  summer  collection!  In   the   end   my   jump   made   it   on   the   cover   of   the  catalogue  ;)

—>   as   for   my   stuntman   doings,   it   was   really  great   fun   to   perform   the   ski   jumpers   crash  parts.  The  movie  is  definitely  worth  watching.
