Planning your Location Search

• Based on the clients requirement, need in terms of the urgency , confidentiality and the budget we have to prepare a search strategy and a recruitment plan including the Executive Search, database search or through Advertisement search.

Executive search• There are some positions that demand unique skills and are mandatory in terms of their technical knowledge, profession. •  A research on the target companies, role, designation has to be done to identify the potential candidates in the market. • This would make the work easier and help us understand role in depth, increases our ability to attract the candidates.

.

Database SearchBeing there in the recruitment industry for many years we should have had a

good database on all the positions

• Finance, Accounting and Corporate Finance• Risk Management, Compliance and Internal Audit• Legal and Company Secretarial• Human Resources, Administration, and Training and Development• Information Technology and ERP Systems• Marketing, Public Relations and Communications• Banking and Financial Services• Property and Asset Management• Retail, Hospitality and Customer Services• Sales, Distribution and Business Development• Manufacturing, Engineering and Supply Chain

• Advertisement Search

• we can advise our clients on the most appropriate media ad campaigns to promote the position. This would be posted under the recruitment brands to attract the high quality candidates.

UNIVERSAL SEARCH METHODThere are 5 steps which can be followed in order to cut down the

lengthy recruitment process of finding the right candidate.Step 1 : Understanding the requirement. • It is obvious that we get the requirement details from the HR Manager but the

specs of the requirement can get diluted by the time it comes from the Hiring manager to the recruitment consultant. So we may get either too many details on the role or very limited which may not help you to pick the right candidate.

• So it is always advised to speak to the Hiring manager whom the hired candidate would report to get Apple to apple information.

Step 2: Jot down all the list of skill sets a hiring manager is looking in the New team member.

• Listen to the skill sets required for the role and list down the skills which would not only give you a clear picture on the required skill set but will also help you to find new synonyms of the skills.

Eg: SKILLS for a Marketing role : • Marketing• Promotion• Business• Market penetration• Selling• Sell

• List each and every individual skill and the job title which can be grouped as individual terms or multiple words.

• By including a space between each word the space acts as the AND operator in your Boolean string.

Step 3 : Research and list synonyms• Look at the requirement thoroughly anf find the synonyms, Words, Phrases

that can be used for search. It is a part of string.• Seperate each Synonym with "or"

Step 4 : Run the Search• You can use the same search in Advanced search Section of

Step 5 : Remove unsuitable results• Check the search and Filter the words by using and "Not" to get more

refined search results.

This method would take time but this research will make you more effective in the long run.

Implementing this will help you to contact maximun people who are more accurate suitable for the role in less time.

Boolean Searching

• Boolean logic is a system of showing relationships between sets by using the words "AND," "OR," and "NOT." The term Boolean comes from the name of the man who invented this system, George Boole It is used in many electronic searching tools to define a search string.

Here are some examples of boolean search strings:

Marketing AND DirectorDirector OR HeadDigital NOT BTL

( ) parentheses/ "Nesting : It is required for that occours inside words to be searched t. This is called "nesting." • Parentheses is used to group terms to be joined by boolean operator OR, AND, NOT

Eg : "Sales Management" AND "P&L" AND (digital OR"online*")

Quotation Marks " " : Used to search combined words eg: "Digital Marketing"

Excluding -Word : To neglect word in search - word is used. Eg: Marketing -"Exhibition"
