Temporary sculpture-Land art

• Land art, Earthworks or Earth art is an art movement which emerged in the U.S in the late 1970s in which landscapes and the work of art became linked. It is also an art form that is created in nature, using natural materials such as rocks, soil, organic materials( logs, branches, leaves). Sculpture is not placed in the landscape rather the landscape is the means of their creation. The work frequently exist in the open locates well away from civilization, left to change and erode under natural conditions.
