When is it? Tuesday 25 June 2013 10 am to 3.30 pm (Registration & Exhibitions from 9.30 am) Where is it? Scottish Government HUVictoria QuayU Leith Edinburgh EH6 6QQ What’s it about? This one day seminar will bring together communities, voluntary sector organisations and public sector emergency responders involved in planning for, responding to and recovering from emergencies. It will explore what’s happening in community resilience across Scotland. There will be opportunities to network, view an exhibition by voluntary sector responders, share good practice and experience, catch up with what’s happening in resilience policy and research and to practice working together in response to an emergency in a scenario based exercise. Due to demand, individual organisations will be limited to a maximum of 3 delegates. You will be provided with joining instructions approximately 2 weeks prior to the event Exhibit There will be limited exhibition space at the event and also outside space for demonstration vehicles.
