- For other access problems with commercial applications (SAS, Oracle) inform the helpdesk
- Helpdesk also provides training for institutional applications, remote installations, configuration, updates and bug fixing.
- Many problems can be fixed by directly logging into your computer

- For formal video conferencing, where quality is a must, CIAT and ICRAF both use professional Polycom equipment
- For non-formal video/audio conferencing users have many options, such as Skype, however they all have their limitations
- WebEx can provide the best of both worlds

- CIATs Campus Agreement with Microsoft, allows participation in the Microsoft IT Academy Program for all HQ and regional staff
- Users may access courses anytime, anywhere, and obtain officially Microsoft certification
