Rotation

• Rotation- The spinning of the earth on its imaginary axis, which takes about 24 hours to complete and causes day and night to occur.

• It takes 24 hours or one day to rotate.

Revolution

• Revolution- Earth’s yearlong elliptical orbit around the sun and it causes the seasons.

• It takes 360 days for it to go through every season.

Axis

Axis- Is an imaginary line that cuts through the center of Earth and around which Earth spin’s.

Orbit

• Orbit- Is the path of earth going around the sun and the moon going around the earth.
