Undergraduate Researcher, University of Delaware, Newark, DE June 2014 –September 2014Research pertaining to green diesel produced from various vegetable oils was conducted. Using computer software, reactions were simulated on a kinetic basis to calculate cetane number and cloud point for perspective green diesel options to produce an index of such values.

Studied Energy Abroad, The GREEN Program, Iceland Jan 2014Spent a week studying geothermal energy, wind turbines, and hydroelectric facilities at the University of Reykjavik in Iceland through the GREEN Program. This week included tours of various facilities.

Maintenance, Saint Margaret Parish, Bel Air, MD June 2013 – August 2014Performed general maintenance such as taking out trash, painting, and fixing light fixtures.
