What Foods Count for Nutrient Analysis

• All foods served in a meal, including condiments are analyzed

• ALL foods for reimbursable student meals are included –

no a la carte or adult sales

SMI Nutrition Review Includes

• On-site visit• Nutrient analysis of one week’s menu with

all:– Production records– Recipes used during week of review– Brand product labels – Review of milk invoices for 1 month (to

determine fat levels of milk in selected school)
