BOY BAND CHARACTERISTICS• Choreographed dance moves, all dancing in time to eachother whist singing.•Wear the latest trend as they are in the public eye a lot.• Predominantly ‘pop’ music genre, but are also popular in other genres of music such as ‘folk’ and ‘rock’.• Generally try to meet a stereotype such as ‘bad boy’, ‘ nice boy’ and ‘baby’.

WHO ARE WE?• We are a new, young, fun boy band consisting as the title

suggests of four school boys.• Our target audience are preteens(as with most boy

bands/pop groups).• Our music genre is ‘Pop’.• Each member is a representation of a current boy band.

We have taken our inspiration from the likes of Jedward and Take That.

DOUGIEThis is Dougie. He is the ‘underdog’ or ‘bad boy’of the group, he is a recovering drug addict/alcoholic. His ‘problems’ have gained him negative press in recent years, he is ‘clean’ now and is rebuilding his image as the heart throb of the band

He resembles Mark Owen and Howard Donald from Take that who have both been in the press for such activities as the above.

PHIL

The lead singer and the face of the band. originally the ‘backup’/’bad boy’ of the band until lead singer Dougie had his breakdown. Then assumed the role of number 1 and has reinvented the band with a fresh face and attitude as well as writing the new songs. Is comparible to Robbie Williams who is now the focus of Take That having been in the shadow of Gary Barlow in the 1990’s and is now the ‘good boy’ member of the band.

BEN & OLLIEBen and Ollie are the twins. They resemble Jedward, they are the ‘fun’ characters out of the band and create the most humour because they cant sing....Especially Ben.
