My hope is to find a position where I can learn, contribute, and grow for an extended period of time and truly hope that is with your company. Therefore, I am submitting my resume for your review to be considered for more than just a position… for a career I could truly be passionate about. Some of my proudest accomplishments and most fulfilling moments in my career thus far developed from being given opportunities during my time as a Regional Entertainment Coordinator for Caesars Entertainment in New Jersey and Pennsylvania working for Caesars, Harrah’s, Bally’s, Showboat, House of Blues, and Harrah’s Philadelphia. There, I was given the responsibility to orchestrate the routing of all contracts and facilitate the receipt of proper insurance for all booked appearances. This included coordinating with the various VPs and GMs offices regarding contract routing, reviewing contract requirements, and corresponding with management, talent coordinators, and agents for providing insurance that met each contract’s specific needs. To better communicate the tracking of contracts, I implemented weekly emails distributing a spreadsheet that referred to a complete listing of every artist booked with our properties, approximately one hundred shows at any time. Most notably, I brought the East Coast Entertainment Department to the top of the list company-wide for Risk Management by enforcing proper insurance from all of our acts. Additionally, effectively multi-tasking, I functioned as the Office Coordinator, Technical Coordinator, Box Office and Showroom Supervisor, Nightlife Coordinator, and Payroll Coordinator for nearly four hundred on staff departmentally. During my four years in California from 2008 to 2012, I continued to grow through experiences at talent agencies. Working at ICM, MPI, and TalentWorks, I handled mainly the same responsibilities as I did in my job as a Regional Entertainment Coordinator, but had been fortunate to have more contact with clients and managers, building relationships with celebrities and high profile executives, a skill transferrable to treating everyone like a VIP. Furthermore, over the years I’ve also held various positions aside from the Events and Entertainment Industry that have helped to develop my diversified and knowledgeable background. For the majority of 2013, I completed a full-time temp assignment supporting many facets of the Human Resources Department at Aqua America, Inc., a private water utility company. While I held many responsibilities there, my main role was as a Project Manager for a pension project involving 440 former employees. In 2014, I functioned as the sole Customer Care Specialist at Universal Atlantic Systems and lead a bi-weekly meeting of an hour and a half in length, presenting challenging, escalated cases directly to the President and Vice President of the company with approximately 125 on staff. In order to prepare those cases, I often spoke with Regional Managers of many highly recognizable companies for resolutions. And in 2015, I took an opportunity to be an Executive Assistant to 4 Managing Directors as well as a Project Coordinator of a 1.5 million dollar project at Communication Research Associates, Inc., an Executive Coaching Consulting Firm to many high profile companies including major Wall Street banks and hedge funds. Now, I continue to be open-minded and truly hope my next opportunity will be where I remain for the rest of my career. Additionally, with my strong background, upbeat personality, driven work ethics, and positive attitude, I have been able to accomplish success in whatever I have set my mind to. For instance, I was able to fulfill some of my childhood dreams by playing a Pink Lady on the Broadway Tour of “Grease” and by being a contestant on “Who Wants to Be a Millionaire.” However, over the years my grown-up dreams have evolved and I have come to find that I enjoy life behind the scenes just as much and actually belong here now. And so, with my background of diverse experiences, I believe you can find no candidate more motivated or better prepared, feeling comfortable and versatile enough to handle any responsibilities you seek, and happy to perform any additional duties deemed necessary for the successful operation of your company. I truly appreciate you taking the time to review my credentials as I am eager to embark on the next step in my career. Thanks so much for your time and consideration and I hope to hear from you soon. Sincerely, Sarah Donaldson Mairs
