The mission of the Northeast Ohio Regional Fusion Center is to protect citizens by facilitating and enhancing the level of inter-agency communications, intelligence analysis, and information sharing among Federal,

State and local stakeholders and the public and private sectors. This is accomplished in order to anticipate and counter criminal activity, terrorism, and other hazards in coordination with the Intelligence Community.

To whom it may concern: This letter is to express my sincere commendation to Ms. Sarah Arth for her dedicated student intern analyst work during the summer here at the Northeast Ohio Regional Fusion Center. Ms. Arth was instrumental in preparing a research study, which sought to analyze the effects of cultural and socioeconomic factors on community - law enforcement relations. Of particular note, Ms. Arth’s study provided recommendations to local law enforcement and intelligence agencies and was used as a blueprint for the 2014 U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s (DHS) Building Communities of Trust (BCOT) initiative in Cleveland, OH. Ms. Arth’s research and analytic performance was commendable and provided a huge service to the Northeast Ohio Regional Fusion Center. If the opportunity arose, I would seriously consider her for hire for her great qualities and first-class work ethic. I would be available for additional comment if necessary.
