José, how long have you been wearing Northwave? How was your choice?Woowww! Let me think... 1995-1996-1997 then I had a break and came back to Northwave in 2004 until now! So this means 13 yearsWhy did I chose Northwave? Well, as a junior I saw NW as the best company with the best image: a new, fresh, and pure MTB brand. This is why I signed with NW early in my career. They supported me from the beginning. After that I had always some kind of debt because NW was among the first to support me as a young rider.Right now I keep going with NW because of many reasons: innovation, performance and weight. But the main reason is that I feel like being at HOME with NW.

If Extreme was a challenge to be overcome for you,what would it be?Well, thinking that Extreme is something that you can touch it’s not correct! When I think about extreme, I mean looking more into myself, to improve every year. I have to find my limits, my “inside extremes”!And you know, it is much harder than going for big jumps, steep climbs or “extreme” downhills”.

What are the characteristics of Extreme you love the most?I love the Extreme shoes because they’re a mix of all the things that a rider needs: light, stiff sole, simple but functional cover, good grip and simple closing systems. And of course a touch of Italian style with colors!

How do you see the world Northwave?It’s a fresh world, made of dynamic people that capture their passions for cycling and put them in cycling products! And the best is that you can see that LOVE in each product from a shoe to a pair of sunglasses going through socks, clothing, all for cycling users.

What is your dream for this 2013? Jajajj dream! Well, many dreams are in my mind but the majority of dreams makes it better in dreams than in reality! (this so poetic ahahah!). For this season I’m going to focus in the World cup and European champs. In any case the 3 main goals for me will be the World cups stages in Germany, Italy and Andorra and the World Championships in South Africa, a race that I love!

For 2013 Northwave is the official sponsor of Team Vacansoleil-DCM. A very important sponsorship for the company, that stands out once again by selecting one of the most important world teams: for the third year in a row confirming its World Pro Tour license after meeting the results, ethics, administrative and financial requirements necessary to obtain the important license. The Dutch team changed nearly a quarter of its line-up, adding amongst others Juan Antonio Flecha to lead the team in Spring Classics, while to fight for the Big Tours, the team will rely on the addition of José Rujano, Wesley Kreder, Danny Van Poppel and Willem Wauters. NORTHWAVE AL FIANCO DI GOSS E ALTRI IMPORTANTI ATLETI DEL TEAM ORICA-GREENEDGE PER TUTTA LA STAGIONE 2013.Nove atleti del Team Pro Tour Orica GreenEdge indosseranno Extreme ed Extreme Tech nelle maggiori competizioni mondiali durante tutta la stagione 2013.

Il più titolato è senza dubbio l’australiano Matthew Goss, uno sprinter potente che arriva dalla pista e che in carriera vanta vittorie prestigiose al Giro d’Italia, alla Tirreno-Adriatico e, soprattutto, alla classicissima Milano-San Remo. Goss ha cominciato la stagione con podi importanti, cercando la migliore condizione in vista dei grandi appuntamenti stagionali.

Da non sottovalutare il cronoman e Campione Nazionale Canadese Svein Tuft, mentre Allan Davis e Brett Lancaster sono da anni i portabandiera Australiani nel Mondo. The most successful rider is the australian Matthew Goss, powerful sprinter grown up as a track cyclist, who in his career obtained prestigious victories in the Giro d’Italia, Tirreno-Adriatico and above all the classic “Milan-San Remo.” Goss started the year with important podiums, looking to achieve the best form for the big seasonal races.

The Colombian team, but based in Italy, is led by a historical name of professional cycling, the team manager Claudio Corti, who won in his career with his athletes three Giro d’Italia.

Team Colombia’s multi-year project aims to restore the Colombian cycling as a constant presence at the top of this sport, and the future seems bright for this new wave of young Colombian talents, fresh off a wildcard for the Pink Race.

We’re talking about very high forces: think of the sudden acceleration or uphill bursts that repeat a large number of times: an athlete who travels 30,000 km per year performs approximately five million cycles pedaling.Each element of the BioMap shoes by Northwave has been designed to keep the foot in the correct position while pedaling, transmitting the force directly on the pedals without loss of energy. Il picco (27%) è dalle 16 alle 20 quando si sommano gli effetti dell’aumento della circolazione dovuto agli spostamenti dal luogo di lavoro verso l’abitazione ad altri fattori, quali l’accumulo di stress e la difficoltà di percezione visiva dovuta alla riduzione della luce naturale.Inoltre occorre considerare anche la mancanza di corsie dedicate e di dotazioni di sicurezza necessarie.
