General Information Your Wedding Day Your Catering Manager will assist you in the pre-planning of your event. On the day of the wedding, a banquet captain will ensure hotel equipment is set according to your pre-arranged agreement and coordinate the food and beverage particulars. In addition to your wedding day, the catering team would be happy to assist you with the planning of your rehearsal dinner and a post-wedding brunch at our resort.
Event Times Events may only run six hours per venue or additional charges apply. Daytime events are scheduled from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Lunch pricing is in effect until 2 p.m. Evening events in the Plaza del Sol are scheduled from 5:30 p.m to 11 p.m. Evening receptions held in the Reagan Room or ballrooms are anytime between 6 p.m. to 1:30 a.m. All event times are based on availability.
Ceremony Locations • Plaza del Sol—Spectacular 20,000 sq. foot open sky plaza overlooking
the Pacific Ocean. Seats up to 800 guests. • Anacapa Patio—Semi-private with tropical landscaping and fountain.
Seats up to 120 guests. • Rose Garden—A beach view with the palm trees of Cabrillo Blvd. across
the street and a stone fountain as a backdrop. Seats up to 200 guests. • On the Beach—An expansive stretch of sand on the beach directly across
from the resort. Required city permits are handled by resort. • Ballroom—No need to worry about inclement weather in our beautiful
Ballroom. Let your dreams create any atmosphere inside. Seating from 50 to 1200 guests.
Reception Locations Reception set-up fees include resort tables, chairs, china, glassware, stemware, in-house linens, dance floor and staging.
• Reagan Room—Seating from 70 to 180 guests. This is one of Santa Barbara’s premier locations with a 160-degree view of the tranquil Pacific Ocean. It features vaulted ceilings, elegant chandeliers, a three- sided granite fireplace and an outdoor ocean-view patio ideal for cocktails.
• Grand Ballroom—Seating from 60 to 700 guests in a beautiful 12,000 sq. foot ballroom with a 16-foot high ceiling and chandeliers throughout the room. Foyer area available for cocktails.
• Santa Barbara Ballroom—Intimate and elegant, this 4,000 sq. foot ball- room has seating from 50 to 200 guests and a 12-foot high ceiling. Foyer area available for cocktails.
• Fiesta Room & Terrace—Private third floor venue with seating from 20 to 60 guests. Opens up to a semi-private terrace overlooking the Plaza del Sol and sparkling Pacific Ocean.
Plaza del Sol & Upper Rotunda With seating from 175 to 800, you and your guests will enjoy an elegant reception and/or ceremony under the sun and stars. This is one of the most stunning outdoor locations on the California coast offering a 180-degree view of the Pacific Ocean and the Santa Ynez mountain range. A light wrap or jacket is suggested in the late evening. For evening events, additional lighting will be required and the rental of heaters is strongly recommended.

Wedding Coordinator The assistance of a professional wedding coordinator for personal attention with your wedding day planning is a key element to enjoying your special day. We require you have an experienced wedding coordinator to handle your rehearsal, ceremony and the other details of your reception. We are proud to refer the services of our preferred wedding coordina- tors to ensure a stress-free and seamless day. Setup Fees Setup fees vary depending on your needs and location and include the set-up of tables, chairs, china, glassware, sil- verware, linens, dance floor and staging. Please refer to the current pricing list.
Food and Beverage The hotel will provide all food and beverages, which are sub- ject to a service charge and sales tax. A split menu charge of $4 is applied per person, per entree choice. A chef’s choice of vegetarian entree is available at no additional cost. Refer to package menus for selections and pricing. Outside catering is welcomed for ethnic cuisine.

Deposits and Payments A deposit is required in order to confirm your reserva- tion. A payment schedule will be written into your con- tract. Final payment, by credit card or cashier’s check, is due three days before your event. All payments are non-refundable.
Attendance Guarantee We require your final attendance guarantee be submitted to your Catering Manager one week prior to your event. The final guarantee may not be lowered once submitted. Additions are subject to availability.
Guest Rooms and Suites The resort has 360 elegantly appointed guest rooms and suites. Each room features luxurious Sweet Dreams bedding with plush mattresses, high thread-count sheets and down comforters, flat screen TV, high speed internet, clock radios with MP3 connectivity, mini bar, coffee maker, safe and iron- ing board. All guest rooms have a balcony or patio. We are family-friendly with a large number of double queen accom- modations and connecting rooms, and also pet-friendly with no size limit. Guest room accommodations are not guaran- teed and we request you inquire early in the planning process. Check-in is after 4 p.m. and check-out is at 11 a.m. Based on high occupancy we are unable to offer early check-in.

• Santa Barbara Airport offers numerous direct flights to and from the West Coast’s most popular cities such as Los An- geles, San Francisco, and other major U.S. cities: Denver, Phoenix, Portland and Seattle.
• Los Angeles and Burbank airports are a few hours drive from Santa Barbara.
