In December of 2009 a Liberty Safe customer from Tyler Texas bought a Presidential 50 with the new GX-480 Monster Mech installed. Two Weeks later, thieves broke in. After five hours of trying, no matter what tools they used, they couldnt crack his PX50.
On Friday morning October 15, 2010, I found my garage on fire where I also had my safe. The fire department took three hours of fighting the roaring fire before they could put it out. On Monday, the locksmith pulled the door open and we could see that about 95% of my rifles and handguns were okay and all the papers and money were in great condition. The fire inspector advised he had never seen a safe come thru a fire this hot with so little damage. He thinks the safe hit over 100,000 BTUs for most of the 2-3 hours. My statement to your company is job well done!
