DESCRIPTION OF LANDING DOOR LOCKING DEVICE The door locking device consists of two parts,
the locking housing and the receiving contact. The locking takes place by a hole in the side of the landing door. The housing has a metal base an is covered with fibreglass reinforced plastic. The sides are fitted with orange clear covers so contacts can be inspected without removing any covers. Also is it possible to open the lock by means of a triangular key according annex B of the NEN-EN 81/12. The lock can be used for hinged landing doors. Test of ability to break circuit In accordance with 60947-5-1 a circuit was made with a resistor and choke in series. Circuit Test voltage 242 VAC Test current 2,75 A Cos 0,7=45º Resistor 4 Light bulbs 230 V 200 W Choke 200 mH(3 A)
