RDF was set up to provide quality education to rural, underprivileged children in Andhra Pradesh

It has grown from 80 students in 1 school in 1 village to over 1500 children enrolled in 4 schools and 1 Junior College in 4 villages

115 locally sourced dedicated, teaching & non teaching staff

Provides access to quality education: holistic model incorporating academic, life skills and extra curricular activities

Over 3000 students and families impacted through RDF’s education initiatives 15 National Archery Champions and a Beijing Olympian

Selection to National Archery academies and Government Sports Colleges leading to reduced Financial burden on parents

Over 600 alumni pursuing vocational and degree courses; increasing literacy rates in villages of operation

Decreased child marriage and child labour over 17 years due to excellent attendance and negligent drop out rates in schools

Provides employment to local literate and skilled people

In State and district level sport events for under 14 and under 17, RDF’s children have won several prizes in Fencing, Kho Kho, Karate, Running, Kabbaddi, Long jump, High jump, Shot put, Discus throw

For the last two consecutive years RDF Kalleda School achieved a 100% pass percentage in 10th board examinations.

P. Upagna from RDF Kalleda School got 10 / 10 points in SSC exams, 2012-13.

27 Students from RDF Kalleda School participated in State and District level Science talent tests/fairs

RDF Vanitha Achutha Pai Vidyalaya – S. Navyasri (MPC Ist year, English Medium) got 431/470 and B. Naresh (MPC 2nd year, English medium) got 912/1000.

Sponsor A ChildSponsor a student in an RDF School. The funding will ensure no matter the hardships faced by the child’s family, they will remainin school.Cost: Rs. 7,500 and Rs. 10,000 per annum.

For just Rs. 650-850 per month, the child will get access to education, a nutritious midday meal, textbooks, notebooks & uniforms.

Sponsorship Through Endowment:Sponsor a child by contributing to our endowment fund – Plan for a minimum of $368/Rs 22500 to a maximum $12295/ Rs 750000

Sponsor Infrastructure DevelopmentA donation of Rs. 4 Lakh for construction of a classroom enables 400 children to graduate over a period of 10 years.

Rs. 60 Lakh will ensure the children get better school building with 10 classrooms, toilets, drinking water, library, dining hall and sports facilities.

Academic performance - D. Babu got 3993 rank in EAMCET & joined KIMS (medical college).

Purna chandar got 9.7 GPA out of 10 in 10th class. He got 4000 rank in polytechnic Entrance test & got free seat in Hyderabad polytechnic college with hostel facility.

Political achievement - Sarpanch - Banoth Vijay Kumar said that, “RDF’s values of Educate, Engage and Empower always remained in my heart”. 

Sports achievements – Archery- Two girls from Kalleda School, Lavanya and Sharada, got selected for the India under 18 junior team. They came first and third. They will represent India in the junior world championships.

Sumalatha, our alumni student, completed her PET training with good rank.

Mr. Vinod, first batch student, completed MBBS.Kumari Srivani, first batch student, completed her BAMS.
