    For lay people who want to serve God in the church and in the world.

    To develop and support many different kinds of Christian ministry.

  • What does the Course Cover?

    Term 1: Church, Kingdom & Action

    Term 2: Ministry, Vocation & Teamwork

    Term 3: Groups, Growth & the Gospel

  • How much work is involved?

    The course consists of 24 evening sessions, an induction day and two Saturday study days.An hour of linkwork between sessions, which feeds into the group discussion.

  • How is the course taught?

    The evening sessions are usually split into two halves:Worship and a lively presentation on the topic of the eveningSmall group time. There are no essays or assessed work.

  • Who can apply?

    Anyone who wants to grow in Christian ministry. It is not a basics course.Not a course mainly about the Bible. Applicants will already be active Christians.Applicants need their incumbents approval for doing the course.

  • When and where?

    Wednesday evenings at Church House, Manchester.Evening sessions run 6.45 pm to 9.00 pm. The Course will be led by tutors and experienced small group leaders.

MSC many different forms: conventional geographic church plants, midweek congregations, cell church, caf church, congregations linked to school, work or lesiure networks Examples - DVD2008 launched mission shaped ministry, one of programmes to come out of FXC / MSC.A one-year programme with 35 participants (24/11) ideally in a team, some alone our aim is to support and enable pioneers from local churches with understanding and know-how to go to plant Xn communities in new neighbourhoods and networks. So far, 700 FXC congregations registered in C of E.
