GRP, as a modern non-corroding material, finds ever increasing favour for new Pipelines and Systems as well as Lining and Rehabilitation to significantly enhance service life and performance. We provide effective, cost efficient, and appropriate end-to-end solutions for all these infrastructure needs. We have successfully supplied and installed Twenty-One Km. of GRP Underground Fire Fighting Pipeline Network for IOCL-PHCPL Project, Paradeep, Orissa. The particulars of the project are given below :

iii. Total value of contract : Approximately 100,000,000/- ( INR) Rupees One Hundred Million Only.

iv. Pipe Sizes : 80 NB, 100 NB, 150 NB, 200 NB, 250 NB, 300 NB, 600 NB.

v. Network : Fire Water Network and AFFF Foam Network in Tank Farm Area at IOCL Crude Oil Terminal at Paradeep, Orissa.

vi. Test Pressure : 22.5 Kg/cm2

Further, we have introduced GRP Tanks as Underground Crude Oil Storage Tanks and Above-ground AFFF Foam Concentrate Tanks. The distinct advantages of our FRP Products over conventional materials of construction are:

• Corrosion Resistance

FRP Products have longer life with zero corrosion and very high resistance to severe chemical environments. This means no coating, lining, cathodic or anodic protection, leading to zero maintenance and lower overall project costs.

• Light Weight, High Strength-to-Weight Ratio

FRP has a specific gravity of 1.9. The Strength-to-Weight Ratio of FRP Products betters that of all other conventional construction materials. This results in significantly lighter products leading to ease in handling and installation, thereby reducing project overheads.

• Smooth Inner Surface

Our FRP Pipes have smoother inner surfaces than steel. (Hazen William coefficient = 150). This lowers the head loss in pressure applications, leading to smaller pipe sizes, better hydraulic properties, lesser pumping costs and pump rating, ultimately lowering project costs considerably.

• Optimal Design

Our design team co - ordinates with the Project Engineers to optimally design our products, thereby lowering raw material costs and consequently reducing product prices.

FRP Tank:

We manufacture large diameter FRP tanks by filament winding techniques. These tanks have higher laminate strengths than conventional contact moulded tanks. Also, by virtue of filament winding, the FRP layer sequence generated exhibits optimal material characteristics as per design requirements, thus lowering raw material costs and consequently producing lighter, stronger and cheaper products. Storage Advice:

The resin should be stored at temperatures lower than 300C as far as possible, and in tightly closed containers. At higher storage temperatures, the shelf-life of the resin will decrease considerably. Exposure to sunlight should be avoided to prevent the resin from premature gelation, even when no catalyst is present.
