Over the last 17 years of being in the northeast Phoenix/Scottsdale area, my three children have probably attended just about every possible summer camp offered across a wide range of camp types, locations and providers. Never in this nearly two-decade history have I had a child as STOKED and HAPPY about camp as we did this summer with Rancho's camp. My daughter attended every session and BEGGED us to drop her off as early as possible and stay as late as possible. She had an ABSOLUTE BLAST, loved all of the camp counselors/instructors and really got into each of the different camps - from developing a business plan and her first website to sports camp. Whatever you did this summer to make this camp so good, PLEASE keep it up. We will be back next year!

Rancho Solano’s award-winning summer camps for children ranging in ages from 3 to 12 include a wide variety of programs for every interest.

Led by our experienced and dynamic adult staff of teachers/early childhood counselors and aquatic instructors, Day Camp offers a new and exciting theme each week throughout the summer. Features of Day Camp are daily swim instruction, along with a wide variety of exciting, hands-on activities, including sports activities, art, science, music/drama and much more!

Day Camp is specially designed for our 31/2 to 6 year old campers who are ready to explore new themes while simply having fun! Day Campers are exposed to a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment where campers may simply create, imagine and make new friends on a daily basis.

Day Camp offers a new weekly theme so campers may continue to enroll and enjoy a fresh subject each week.

NOTES: - All Junior Day Campers Must Be Fully Potty Trained To Attend Day Camp- Day Camp aims for a 4:1 camper-to-counselor ratio while engaging in general classroom activities and a very low camper to lifeguard ratio for swimming.- Day Campers receive a complimentary snack (daily) and summer camp T-shirt.

From Crazy Cartoons and and Comics, Intro to Entrepreneurship (Fish Tank) and the STEM Olympics to Movie Making, Dangerous Boys & Daring Girls and Ravin’ Rockets, this weekly-themed camp program allows the camper to open their mind and enjoy a safe summer filled with both indoor and outdoor projects, outdoor sports and games, the rock wall, and teamwork development in a fun and innovative setting.

Xpedition CampThemes

Xpedition campers explore engineering, art and technology while joining in teambuilding initiatives, having a ton of fun and making long-lasting friendships in a safe, positive, team and character-building environment. Programs include various Drone flying camps, Stop-Motion-Animation, Intro to Entrepreneurship (Fish Tank), Ultimate Escape Room Challenge, and more.

Tech Camp allows participants to explore the components of Science, Technology Engineering, and Mathematics. Each week focuses on a new and exciting theme so campers can register for one or all of these newly designed programs. Tech campers will learn the basics of robotics and coding, challenge each other to build and compete in a drone obstacle course, and launch water balloons from homemade catapults.

Together with our adult-led staff, campers will have a blast working in small groups as they create, build, strategize, and challenge one another in this one of a kind tech adventure.

The Sport & Games program promotes the development of athletics, leadership, teamwork, sportsmanship, self-confidence, and most of all, fun. Designed for boys and girls ages 7 to 9, Sports & Games Camp caters to the athletic ability level of each camper including beginner, intermediate and experienced campers. This tournament-style camp program includes skill competitions, championship events, creative play, relay races and pool games.

Each week campers are divided into evenly matched teams to participate and compete in contests and games all will enjoy. Each day campers have the opportunity to participate in our free-swim program. Each week concludes with exciting Rancho Summer Camp Friday Field Day competitions followed by an end-of-camp award ceremony recognizing and honoring all of our participating teams. Effort over Results is the philosophy upon which the Rancho Sports & Games Camp was built. Safety, fair play, fun, and a positive learning environment are the priorities of the program.

Sports & Games Camp is for the camper who loves athletics and friendly competition, but doesn’t want to focus on one particular sport. This camp is fun and action-packed; combining a mix of team sports with swimming. Our Rancho Rock Climbing Wall, the Sports & Games Olympics and a special event featured each week are revered among all campers!Campers are grouped by age/grade
