Arts and Crafts CompetitionRules

1. All entries will be judged in three age groups.

a. Jobie- to- be 7-9

b. Jobs Daughters 10-12

c. Jobs Daughters 13-15

d. Jobs Daughters 16-20

2. Contestants submitting entries must be a Daughter in good standing and Jobies- to- be must be

affiliated with a Bethel.

3. The article/item must have been made by the contestant submitting the entry between the time

period of July 2012 and June 2013

4. All entries must be described on the card shown below, and substitutions will not be accepted.

5. Judging will be the Afternoon of June 21, NO VEIWING BY THOSE OTHER THAN THE JUDGES WIL

BE ALLOWED DURIN THIS TIME. The room will be announced.

6. A contestant may enter as many articles/ item per category, and no more than 8 total entries. A

Daughter does have to be in attendance to enter.

7. Each contestant must decide in which Division and Category she wishes her entry to be judged.

However, in fairness to all contestants, the Arts and Crafts committee reserved the right to adjust

categories.

8. All entries must be presented to the Arts and Crafts Committee between 8am and 12pm onJune 21 in the room to be announced. No entries will be accepted after 12pm, on June 21, unless

already in line at the time.

9. The decision of the Judges is final.

10. A 3x5 card must accompany item filled out as shown below.

Note: No art project will be judged if a 3x5 card does not accompany it. Points are deducted if: 1) card

not typed or printed clearly; or 2) card is missing any information.

11. All entries must be checked in with a person on the Arts and Crafts committee. The Arts and

Crafts Committee and Judges will NOT be responsible for lost, broken or damaged entries. Every

precaution possible to guard against theft or damage will be taken.

12. All entries must be picked up by 9pm on June 22.
