You can choose lunches or early dinners for an excellent choice of delicious dishes atvery good value prices, or celebrate in style with the special festive dinner menu.

If you prefer the style of HS-1 Cafe Bar, during December, there will be a daily festivedinner menu and specialsas well as the regular HS-1 menus.

prices.As summer draws to a close, our chefs begin to plan thesumptuous spreads that will be on offer during Decemberand on Christmas Day.

For festive dinner menus, we’re expecting to use localshellfish, including shrimps, scallops and langoustines. You’relikely to find dishes including monkfish, Scottish lamb loin andAberdeen Angus steak.

On Christmas Day, the menu will be even more special, withlocal venison and game, smoked salmon, crab and maybesome lobster. Certainly a delicious feast, completed with achoice of the desserts for which we’re so well known.

Even the lunches and early dinners, although showing asubstantial saving on the full price festive dinner menus, arelikely to include local shellfish, venison and steak.

Traditional dishes are also always popular, so you can expectto find turkey and other seasonal favourites on the menus.

Christmas Day is really popular at the Royal - in the lastcouple of years, we have opened HS-1 Cafe Bar forChristmas lunch, in addition to the Boatshed restaurant.

We’ll do the same this year, but tables are almost certain tosell out long before December - if you want to book, wesuggest you do so as early as possible.

As we plan our Christmas and festive menus during the late summer, the content is based upon ingredients that we expect to be available during December. Occasionally it maynot be possible to obtain some ingredient/s in sufficient quantities or to the high quality standards on which we insist, so please note that items/recipes on the menus shown maybe subject to alteration or withdrawal without prior notice.
