Some Student Success Stories

An AP Computer Science student working at Amazon

Several Auto Technology students who interned at BMW Concord are now employed there

An Art of Video Production student is employed as a production assistant at KRON NBC News

A former Sports Medicine student is now an Athletic Trainer for performers at Disneyland

A former Cosmetology student is now responsible for the packaging of Kendo brands for Sephora stores

More Student Successes

Art of Video Productions students produced "last moments“, a texting and driving PSA which took third place and the Peoples Choice award in a national Toyota contest, which won them $15,000

The video was also entered in the California state media festival where it won best PSA and the overall Grand Prize for the whole show   

The same group also entered into a NASA film festival where they went against 145 artists from 16 countries and took 2nd place in the Live action category

Students in a CAD class designed and created for Shriners’ Hospitala custom vise that holds prosthetic limbs The same students designed and created a

camera mount for UC Davis’s Burn Unit Students in a Culinary Careers class created a

cookbook and reusable shopping bags to win the Microsoft Social Innovation Award at the National Junior Achievement Association

Numerous adult graduates of Medical Assistant program employed at local hospitals

Numerous adult graduates of Industrial Maintenance Mechanic and Process Plant Operator program employed at local refineries
