Agriculture in India India is agricultural country. about 75%

people have Agri profession.

Farmers produce so many crops in there

farm such as, cotton, sugarcane, soyabean,

sorgham etc.

Large hector area is cultivated for farming to

fulfillment the needs of Indian people.

technological application that

uses biological system and

living organisms thereof, to

make or modifiy product or

process for specific use”

The wide concept of “Biotechnology” encompasses a wide range of procedure for modifying living organisms according to human purpose, going back to domestication of animals, cultivation of plants, and improvement to these through breeding programs and hybridization.

Modern usage also include genetic engineering as well as cell and tissue culture.

For thousands of year, humankind has used biotechnology in Agriculture, Food production and medicine.
