The ProblemMany friends loose contact with each other

when they relocate, due to different time zones and the long distance.

Also, a lot of friends do not know the current times of the country their friend is in, this

can lead to wasted phone calls – which means wasted money – and no one likes

that.

Q1. When I try to contact my friend (in Canada), I find it hard because they are at different times to me. Is there a way to

help make this easier?

A1. Yes, Find The Time allows you to create and edit a calendar which lets chosen friends see when you available,

and lets you access a trusted website, on which you can search their city, and see their time zone.

Q2. Even with the use of the World Clocks page, how will I remember when my friend is free. When I have such a busy

schedule, I often forget little things like this?

A2. Fortunately, we have an easy to use alarm, which you can set to remind you when your friend is free. A good idea is to set the alarm after you have visited the world clocks page, so

you don’t forget later.

Q3. Can I not just search the websites for time zones, set an alarm on my phone, without your app? What makes you’re

app so special that I have to download it?

A3. Good question. Our app is unique because it lets you do all that at once. Find The Time makes the process of

finding when your friend is free, much quicker than doing it all separately.

It may be day in your country, but night in your friends’, this means you wont be able to contact (call) them, as they may be asleep.

But an alarm to remind you when you and your friends are both at appropriate times, may just help.

DescriptionGlobal Friends is a webcafe where you can learn about global topics: war and peace, human rights... You can also share your own art about these topics at the webacfe. Take photos or maybe make a video or a cartoon! You find free editing software and instructions to it. In the chat room you can meet young people from around the world. Global Friends is organized by four Finnish Christian youth organizations: Nuorten Keskus, PTK – Poikien ja tyttöjen keskus, Seurakuntien Lapsityön Keskus and the Finnish Evangelical Lutheran Mission. This app, Global Friends, sounds like our app, but is completely different. This app talks about making new friends, when our app

aims to help reconnect old friends.
