8 x Times Tables Tip!

Have a look at these timesavers.

The numbers in the 8 × table are always even. This means they can be divided by 2 without remainder. If it’s an odd number then it is not in

the 8 × table!

Have a look at the 8 × table again. The unit digits have a regular pattern - they go down in 2s.

1 x 8 = 8 2 x 8 = 16 3 x 8 = 24 4 x 8 = 32 5 x 8 = 40 6 x 8 = 48 7 x 8 = 56 8 x 8 = 64

Spelling Tip

Here’s the answer to a tricky spelling. It’s

dedicated to footy fans!

Bradwell Outdoor Residential Trip

Just a gentle reminder

approaching. Full

Parent Governor Nomination

Following the recent nomination

process for a new Parent Governor,

one nomination only was received, from

Mr Martin Ovenden, who has one child

in Sunshine Nursery and another in

Red Class. Mr Ovenden has

therefore been appointed without the

need for an election, with effect from

15 April 2018 until 15 April 2022.

Congratulations to our lovely Rainbow

Class children for a wonderfully

ambitious class assembly. ‘There’s A

Sunflower In My Supper’ was a real

treat to watch. What a talented bunch

of children we have! Thank you to all

our families for attending and a huge

shout out to our PTA for the tea and

coffee beforehand.
