Biography•Rose Marie Tapia is a Panamanian author born December 6th,1947.

•She considers her childhood was happy and it is one of the main inspirations in her books.

•Her favorite authors and influences are: Victor Hugo, Fyodor Dostoevsky, and the examples of her mother.

•Roberto Down The Right Path is a story about a boy named Tuti who was a delinquent that assaulted a young man named Luis Carlos and his girlfriend Susana for some money. Susana died from the cause of Tuti’s gun shot. Tuti was a minor who came from a poor family. With these reasons Luis Carlos’s mother, Maria Cristina, decided to help Tuti change his life, besides what he had done to her son. Tuti accepted Maria Cristina’s help to find his true person and be guided on the right path. The years went by and Tuti was starting to change. He even changed his name since his real name wasn’t Tuti, he decided his own name and called himself Roberto. After a lot of progress, one day he got murdered. With this sadness, Maria Cristina decided to make a foundation on be half of his memory and called it “ Roberto Down The Right Path”.

To honor Roberto’s memory, and as an example of a boy who really wanted to live out of darkness, Maria Cristina names a foundation Roberto Down The Right Path, which will help people like him to become better persons.

To cultivate the virtue of forgiveness. We need to help control crime

especially that performed by minors. Never loose faith. A proposal for change of attitude

leading us to find answers to neutralize any process that threatens our life.
