1.2 Where we work

Right To Play works in development and humanitarian contexts in Africa, Asia and the Middle East.

Development Humanitarian

In contexts where children and

their families are refugees, or

have been affected by conflict

or natural disaster, our

programs seek to re-establish

normalcy and promote well-

being.

In communities around the

world affected by structural

poverty and injustice, we initiate

and support scalable and

replicable programs, in

partnership with government

and civil society actors.

1. STRATEGIE

Right To Play Nederland

19

Page 20: Right To Play 2020...Right To Play is the only global development organization focused exclusively on using the power of play to transform the lives of children and youth affected

1.1 Aanleiding

Right To Play Nederland (2004) werft al jaren succesvol fondsen (1,5 -2 miljoen per

beperkt. Het werk van Right To Play wordt soms gezien als niet urgent en ver van

huis.

20

Page 21: Right To Play 2020...Right To Play is the only global development organization focused exclusively on using the power of play to transform the lives of children and youth affected

1.2 Context

Right To Play Nederland

24

Page 25: Right To Play 2020...Right To Play is the only global development organization focused exclusively on using the power of play to transform the lives of children and youth affected

En even hun zorgen vergaten.

Page 26: Right To Play 2020...Right To Play is the only global development organization focused exclusively on using the power of play to transform the lives of children and youth affected

2.2 WHY-HOW-WHAT

How: Right To Play zet spelen in om kinderen samen plezier te laten maken en

cruciale vaardigheden te laten leren. En gewoon kind te laten zijn.

What: Right To Play zet 4 speelvormen in: sport, educatief spel, creatief spel (theater,

26

Page 27: Right To Play 2020...Right To Play is the only global development organization focused exclusively on using the power of play to transform the lives of children and youth affected

Wereldwijd.

27

Page 28: Right To Play 2020...Right To Play is the only global development organization focused exclusively on using the power of play to transform the lives of children and youth affected

We lachen

terwijl we leren.

DARE TO DREAM | Als je speelt is alles mogelijk. Dus we gebruiken onze fantasie

BE CONFIDENT | Right To Play is autoriteit op het gebied van spelen.

KEEP IT SIMPLE | We kennen de kracht van eenvoud. Spelen is natuurlijk en

primair. We doen dus niet onnodig ingewikkeld. We zeggen het zoals het is.

DO IT TOGETHER | Spelen is grenzeloos en verbindt. Als je speelt is iedereen gelijk.

We werken graag samen.

2.4 Waarden

28

Page 29: Right To Play 2020...Right To Play is the only global development organization focused exclusively on using the power of play to transform the lives of children and youth affected

29

2.5 Time To Play

Wij bieden concrete actie.

Speelmomenten.

Dat doen we zelf.

Maar vooral samen met anderen.

En we leggen altijd de verbinding

tussen spelen dichtbij en ver van huis
