What are Work Clubs
What we do…
We help all jobseekers –
no eligibility criteria
- Other than you are looking for work and
- You will work with us to find a job
All of our services are free
All of our services are person-centred
Our services are delivered by volunteers
What makes us different…
• First Work Club established in Crossley, Chadderton, Oldham in May 2011
• Latest Work Club also established in Chadderton at the Library last month
• 10 general Work Clubs and 2 Enterprise Clubs now operational on the ground
• 1 virtual on-line Work Club
Where we are now…
• Developing new clubs -Royton, Alt & Holts
• Meeting specialist need – for example, ex-offenders, executives and graduates
• Developing a pool of trained volunteers
• Building the ‘brand’ amongst residents and the business community
• Constituting the group to secure funding
