PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Campos – Campos Engineering Procurement Construction LLC. 2016–PresentPipeline SME/Design Engineer – Shorts and Hydrotest ProgramAssumed a project management role for the initial shorts projects given. Initiated discussions on all projects with PG&E planners, engineers and other relevant stake holders following PG&E protocol. Begun initial review, scope and design of all projects before transferring projects to associate engineers. Created tap lists and devised clearance options while collaborating with other contractors to ensure the most efficient and cost effective method for taking clearances. Reviewed engineering concepts and designs for accuracy and feasibility before being sent to drafting. Performed Quality Control reviews of drawings before submitting to client. Attended review meetings with client to ensure the needs and requirements of each project are met. Worked with internal engineering and drafting to create a comprehensive and exhaustive drawing checklist and project checklist. Prepared welding tables, STPR’s and other deliverables for final IFC product.

Campos – Campos Engineering Procurement Construction LLC. 2015–2016Pipeline Project Engineer – Shorts ProgramPerformed data analysis for PG&E’s Shorts Scoping Program; worked extensively with PG&E’s Intranet resources (e.g. ECTS, GISWeb, EDM, Tech Library, etc.). Attended weekly client review meetings to ensure the vision and alignment of work is consistent with the client wants and needs; applied CFR and ASME codes and standards to ensure all reviewed pipe was accurately sorted. Assumed a technical/SME knowledge based role for the engineering staff in San Ramon and Denver offices, before and during Quality Control reviews.

Campos – Campos Engineering Procurement Construction LLC. 2014–2015Pipeline Project/Design EngineerDesigned pipeline replacement projects for large diameter natural gas pipelines running through multiple cities and municipalities; interacted directly with vendors to spec out and purchase materials based on client wants and needs. Provided technical assistance and consultation to SDGE field crew and construction contractors to resolve engineering issues. Worked with city planners and engineers to develop quick and efficient production plans through major urban developments and assisted other engineers with the SDGE Pipeline Safety Enhancement Plan (PSEP) while bringing SDGE infrastructure up to code for Pipeline ILI and Pigging processes. Worked with multiple engineering contractors with process improvement for engineering design teams; provided detailed cost analysis for multiple pipeline replacement projects within urban areas and designed hydrostatic tests for new installations and existing pipelines. Assisted Project Managers

with scheduling, costs, materials, man power and acquiring testing equipment (frac tanks, PIGs, pumps, etc.). Worked with Project Managers and drafting to manage engineering deliverables that would meet or exceed expected due dates.

GTS – Gas Transmission Systems, Inc. 2011–2014Pipeline Design EngineerDesigned over 30 strength tests for PG&E’s PSEP program incorporating data collection from various client sources; communicating with field engineers and site supervisors to relay project progress and challenges; proposing multiple solutions with various financial, governmental and community impacts; and coordinating with PG&E gas management SME’s regarding outages and temporary gas requirements. Created strength testing procedures for construction and field engineers. Provided technical assistance and consultation to testing inspectors, construction managers, contractors, and other project leads including CH2M Hill, E2, Tulsa, and several construction companies. Assisted in developing clearance procedures to minimize customer impact and curtail the use of CNG/LNG resources, adhering to budget constraints. Developed pipeline features lists (PFL’s) ascertaining any and all features that would be subjected to test pressures. Applied CFR Code 192, ASME codes for pipelines and PG&E’s own GS&S codes and standards to the design of strength tests. Utilized PG&E’s multiple GIS systems to gather information.

GTS – Gas Transmission Systems, Inc. 2011Project Developer and CoordinatorCollaborated with upper management within PG&E and GTS to design reliable and cost effective methods for locating and removing gas distribution lines bored through city and customer sewer mains. Worked over 75% of the time in the field with contractors and PG&E construction crews while engaging with customers and city officials. Conducted data collection using sophisticated GPS survey equipment for PG&E’s GIS System. Developed databases for survey collected data to be used in PG&E’s GIS System; populated with relevant data.

NEI – Nuclear Energy Institute Summer 2008Communications Specialist Intern

Composed and reviewed news articles for weekly and monthly publications. Attended multiple seminars and NRC public hearings. Updated NEI’s public and private Fact Sheets and Contact Lists.Participated in NEI’s training on Effective Communication of Nuclear Power.

Bechtel – Nuclear Waste Treatment Plant Summer 2007Field Engineer Intern (Office of Engineering)Revised Bechtel’s procedures to adhere to nuclear safety standards for the Waste Treatment Plant project.
