Questions to ask in advance of demo/presentation

How many people will be attending?

Will we have access to fryers and or convection oven?

Where will we be setting up?

Can we get access to the kitchen 30 minutes prior to start time?

Krisps need some thought...

Sample Preparation

Fusion Rolls - In general samples can be prepared the evening prior if you have an early morning demo, otherwise we prefer samples to be prepped the same day as your presentation. (see thawing instructions) Remember once you have begun thawing you cannot refreeze…

Slice of Rice – nothing special and you can thaw on the way to your call or when you arrive by running under water. (see thawing instructions)

Krisps – these can be put in containers and are very temperature tolerant. It does not matter if they are frozen or partially defrosted by the time to cook them off. The cooking instructions will not change.

How many samples will I need?

If your prospect rolls their own... bring at least 2 each white and brown Slice of Rice. If they don’t bring at 1 white so they can taste rice

1 log will get 12 slices and good for 8-12 people and bring one full log so you can show how product comes and fits into cutting guide

2 Krisps per person of each flavor. If sampling only 2 flavors I suggest 3 per person.

Slice of Rice

Sample White and Brown Slice of Rice and explain texture, kernel separation and taste*

Patent pending process that no one can duplicate... Fat free, Low sodium, Gluten free

Mention while they are tasting the feel of individual kernels and “bounce back” without being hard or brittle...

For Brown rice which is typically bland ours has a slightly sweet*, nutty flavor

“(K)” Kosher Certified

*Slightly sweet taste formulated to American and Japanese flavor profiles

It can be difficult to sample all 4 varieties in one demo, but if needed this is the recommended approach... Begin with Cheese & Garlic, followed by Spicy Crab, Buffalo Crab and Fiesta.

Krisps can bring a special challenge to demo

Krisps - Talking Points

Coats Double Toasted and Seasoned Panko, great on bamboo skewers with sauces (2-3 pieces per skewer and 2

skewers) is a great and profitable sale in a bar or pub or terrific item for banquets or buffet lines. Coats Double Toasted Panko gives an extra crunch that is perfect for

appetizers!

Sampling Tips

I do recommend you bring some Sushi Ginger that people can use in-between tasting the various flavors. This is very important with Krisps, as those sampled after Cheese & Garlic are spicy and tend to blend together unless the taste buds get some rest.

What not to do*… As a general rule we don’t recommend bringing wasabi to product demos and we have no problem informing those sampling we prefer they get the real taste of our products first. * One exception Golds Ginger Wasabi
