Rhetorical Appeals Ethos = Ethical Appeal Pathos = Emotional Appeal Logos = Logical Appeal Evidence: information that supports a position in an argument Empirical Evidence is based on experiences and direct observation through research. Logical Evidence is based on facts and a clear rationale. Anecdotal Evidence is based on personal accounts of incidents. The U.S. does not restrain or punish individuals, forgiving them for what they have done. That is why the whole country is in chaos: drugs, violence, unemployment and homelessness.
