Established in the UK during the early period of Internet adoption as a business tool. Projects won with high-risk businesses in finance, defence and government sectors. Including a 6 year engagement with Vickers Defence (later acquired by Alvis Vehicles and BAE Systems)

Portfolio is extended to include Oil & Gas and Manufacturing verticals. Askaris opens an office in the UAE and develops applications delivering robust and scalable operational effectiveness in harsh and disconnected environments.

Following steady growth of its resources and capabilities Askaris becomes more connected with international entities resulting in partnerships, agreements and relations with some of the industries key companies , manufacturers and organizations.

RF AND WIRELESS SYSTEMS STRATEGY Askaris provided Prince2 certified Project Management Team for this Project delivering 13 Project Products including Network RF and Wireless Strategy and Implementation Roadmap for all 3 Stages of the Etihad Rail National Project.

Askaris developed a reliable tagging and inventory architecture that would facilitate asset recording in extremely harsh offshore environments. The Saxon Drilling Project was further complicated by the necessity to be intrinsically safe in areas that are considered “explosive atmospheres”. It was therefore essential, that any solution was ATEX Certified. Askaris sourced a reliable, robust and importantly, ATEX certified Android tablet and developed a bespoke asset registration system with unique features such as multiple backup points and locations to minimise risk of data loss and data drip feed which allowed data to be streamed in small chunks over poor connectivity.
