• More than half species on the earth are living in Rain Forest

Case Study: albatrossIn 1887, Japanese hunt them for

far, because easy to catch in “Father Island”.

6 million of them are hunted.1974, the number of albatross was only 69 left.

• In 1976, researchers found ratio of breeding is quite low

• In 1991 to 2006, Japan started to rescue albatross.

• Government put 92 decoy and speaker beside nest in other island to spread habitat.

The result

• In 1997, 90 babies left a nest in island.• In 1998, 128 babies left a nest in island.

Now, in 2012, 353 babies left a nest in island.

In conclusion

• Many species faced to endangered,

most of them are due to human activities.

• This case study of albatross is succeeded example, but help to revive endangered species is usually very difficult.

• Therefore, we (human being) should take care and find out way to help those species.
