Menoplus es un duo italiano formando por Roby Murer y Nina Uranio que llegan a Playa del Carmen por casualidad hace más de 6 años, para conocer esta hermosa región del CaribeMexicano. Pero pronto se dieron a conocercomo dj’s en fiestas y antros, haciéndose espacio rápidamente en la escena musical nocturna. Trabajando duro entre set y set, consiguieron crear una empresa productora de Pasta Italiana, fabricadaartesanalmente, logrando posicionarseen la Riviera Maya y Cancún, con su variedad de Pasta Gourmet Napolina que,
por lo que hemos probado esta buonissima! Transportan al paladar, al país mediterráneo de sus raíces y finalmente, entre pasta y pasta, siguen deleitando nuestros oídos en alguna que otra Fiesta.
Menoplus is a Italian duo formed by Roby Mu-rer and Nina Uranium landed in Playa del Carmen 6 years ago by chance, to discover this beautiful region of The Mexican Caribbean. But soon became well known as DJ’ at parties and clubs, making themselves known quickly on the night scene. Within a few years of hard work between set’s, they managed to create a handmade pasta company, achieving a market in the Riviera Maya and Cancun with a variety of Gourmet Pasta Napolina, we tested and marked it buonissima! It carries your senses to the Mediterranean country of their roots… and finally , between pasta and pasta, continue to delight our ears in one or another party.

Akumal, recibe su nombre en maya, porque es comun encontrar tortugas marinas que se alimentan en estas zona. Históricamente es el primer destino turístico de Riviera Maya, aún conserva su belleza natural.
En la actual población se creó un Centro Informativo en temas ambientales, creado por el CEA (Centro Ecológico Akumal,), cuyo interés es crear conciencia ecológica y asegurar la calidad ambiental del destino.
Si visitas Akumal, Nadar y snorkelear son excelentes opciones para conocer sus caletas, como la Bahía de la Media Luna, Kantena, Xaac y la laguna de Yalku que es la mas popular, se encuentra 2 km al norte. Una zona rocosa de agua dulce, que conecta al mar, es el refugio de peces tropicales y multicolores.
Este destino se complementa con el museo de esculturas al aire libre, que se funden en el entorno. Existe también vestigios mayas, que se encuentran en la caleta de Xaac, en una isla de roca, lo cual es una clara muestra de cómo los mayas habitaron este sitio.
Hoy en día, en el pueblo de Akumal conviven pacíficamente extranjeros, locales y turistas, un lugar al que recomendamos una escapada.

Akumal, “Place of Turtles” in Mayan named after the sea turtles that feed in this area. Historically it is the first tourist destination of the Riviera Maya, but still retains its natural beauty.
