Had the opportunity to develop cost centre accounting setup for an auto component major

Led the team for drafting the process manual of one of the largest dealership of commercial vehicles in India.

Led team for fraud investigation in a manufacturing major.

As the first Head of Internal audit for the India business, I set up the India IA function for the company.

Conducted the first Risk assessment for the India business and developed audit plan.

Pioneered the concept of co- sourcing of IA for Bunge Asia and Europe from India.

Gained extensive knowledge of commodity trading and risk management along with FMCG business.

Executed audit assignment for Bunge’s businesses out side India and Asia.

Lead successful fraud investigations

TRADING AND TRADED STRUCTURED FINANCE

On the basis of my strengths, the leadership entrusted me with the role to head a prestigious project to re-engineer the PAN India supply chain of the FMCG business of the company in India. The project was based on the Theory of Constraints (TOC) enunciated by the famed Dr EliyahuGoldratt.

The project started with re-engineering the supply chain, however we ended up transforming the entire business on TOC.

After successful completion of the project, I was entrusted with the responsibility of running the re-engineered supply chain which comprised of sourcing of finished goods from third party manufacturers to the distribution upto the distributors of the business, including the management of the manufacturing units and the entire chain of logistics.

The assignment gave me immense insight and experience of the operations of an FMCG business Pan India. I headed the PAN India supply chain for more than three years.

A DIVERSE GROUP IN HOSPITALITY, AGRIBUSINESS AND STEEL MANUFACTURING AND FABRICATION.

The group dealt in diverse businesses ranging from it’s flagship business of running hotels to steel manufacturing. Some of the businesses the group is into are; Hotels, Time share, Hotel management colleges, tours and Travels, Spa, clubs, Facility management, Bio pesticide and Bio fertilizer manufacturing, tissue culture labs, steel structure fabrication, extrusion and valve making spread over the country.

As Group President for governance and audit, I had a rich exposure to issues and risks associated with so many businesses, though each one of them except hotels not being very large. Reporting to the Owner chairman it was a very interesting experience of devising risk management strategies in line with the Chairman's vision.

The group had ten hotels across the country under a prestigious brand.

You can love him or hate him, but you cant ignore him…
