Working as HSE – Lead with Gulf Petrochemical Co. & Trading LCC – Oman with 300 manpower and 4-

HSE Staff from Sohar Refinery (A part of project, in one of the Major two way multiproduct Pipeline

Project of Orpic OLC (Oman Oil refineries & Petroleum Industries Company – Orpic Logistic Company)

as a main contractor of MSPP (Muscat Sohar Product Pipeline) by means of 280 km pipeline to an

intermediate distribution & Storage Facility at Jifnain (Muscat). This Pipeline connects two Refineries

(Mina Al Fahal & Sohar) and Air port for transportation of Gasoline to reduce the existing cost and

efficiency of transportation by means of fuel truck.

Project Details - The Muscat Sohar Pipeline Project (MSPP) will connect our

Mina Al Fahal and Sohar refineries by means of a 280 km pipeline to an intermediate distribution

and storage facility at Jifnain, as well as a new storage facility at Muscat International Airport,

which will receive aviation fuel directly from the pipeline. The project is due to be commissioned

in 2016.MSPP will be a two-way multi-product pipeline, the first of its kind to be constructed in

Oman. It will remove the need for Orpic to ship and truck refined products. Not only will it bring a

new level of efficiency and lower costs to its business, it will reduce the number of fuel-tank truck

journeys in and around Muscat. Heavy fuel-tank truck traffic in Muscat is expected to drop by

70%. MSPP will help to ensure the safe, continuous and environmentally friendly supply of a range

of fuels to meet rapidly growing local demand.

To maintain the Safety Standard of as per Oman Law, ORPIC & GPS to ensure every

worker are adhering to the standards HSE to follow as per live plant activity & Project

HSE Plan, HEMP, HAZOP & EIA.

Looking after the various project scope of piping, pipeline, Drilling- HDD etc for the

project.

Improve the HSE Culture and Maintain the Same in the Project.

Look after & maintain the various Documents related to Project HSE Plan for the entire

Sub – Contractor working under our shade.

Preparing all the Staff and Worker for safe work activity during Shut Down activity like

Tie in Spool and Joint, Piping, HDD etc.

Giving HSE Induction and Training in House and Sub-Contractor and Monitoring the

Work Activity of the Sub-Contractor and ensuring continuous development of standard

procedure under strict supervision & guidance.

Conducting and participating in meeting for JSA, JHI, and Risk Assessment discussion

before the approval of Risk Assessment Procedure with the client each and every

activity.

Preparing JSA, JHI for Trial pit Excavation & Piling activity, Pipe Line and Pipe Bridge,

Piping etc.

Ensure safe movement of Rigs, Heavy Vehicle, and Vehicle Safety Spot Check Etc.

Monitor Site activity, Site Inspection on regular basis with all the HSE Officer.

To ensure continuous gas monitoring excavation more than 1.2 mt. and Confines

Spaces.

To ensure safe & critical lifting is being followed with lifting plan in each and every lifting

activity specially lifting of Pipes and Joints and Valves.

All Hot work related to Pipe welding must be carried out in safe manner as per permit

and JSA requirement.

Proper Storage and Maintenance of the Gas Cylinder like Argon, Nitrogen & Oxygen etc.

Preparing JSA & JHI as per the Project Standard.

Reviewing the Permit Pack and Associated Documents like checklist, Isolation Certificate

by the Permit Holder on Daily Basis.

Ensure all Incident and Near misses are reported.

Prepare report on Accident and Incident and participate on any accident investigation

plan.

Conduct weekly HSE Meeting with all the Artisan and Staff on weekly Basis.

Ensure Proper Waste Management and Removal of the Waste from the site is done.

Ensure all the Lifting gears and equipments are third party certified and monthly

inspection is done by me and other HSE Officers.
