PROFILE I am a qualified and exceptional Team Leader, with experience leading both large and small teams. Through my experience in both the workplace and in the US Marines I have cultivated a positive and effective leadership style that drives results. I am a strong believer in Change Management and Continuous Improvement Methods that drive both lower costs and higher productivity. I feel very strongly about serving the community in which we live. EXPERIENCE OPERATIONS SUPERVISOR, C&S WHOLESALE GROCERS, NORTH HATFIELD, MA — 1995-PRESENT I worked from the bottom up at this company and am a leader in Change Management, Small and Large Team Leadership (teams as small as 6 and as large as 220 associates), and I helped implement safety procedures that ultimately led to a 50% reduction in the ORI rate ($2 million is savings). I developed cross training programs for all areas of Operations and I am currently the facility trainer for new management. DIRECT AIR SUPPORT NET OPERATOR, UNITED STATES MARINE CORPS — 2001-2009 As a Sergeant in the US Marines, leadership is a part of everyday life. During training, I was responsible for both instructing and overseeing the junior Marines in my charge so that they not only had the knowledge to perform their role but the mental toughness to perform their duties during combat operations. I participated in Operation Enduring Freedom in Iraq from 2004-2005. During this time, as an expert in my field, I was tasked to serve as a Marine Liaison Officer on a Joint Task Force, working side by side with all branches of the US Military. This distinguished role is normally held by an officer ranked Captain or higher; however, I filled this position as an enlisted Corporal. I was recognized for my achievements in this position and am now a US Veteran.
