Review the quality related elements during design, procurement & construction to ensure it remains relevant, effective, and achieves mandated quality objectives and targets.

Responsible for the implementation and management of the Project Quality Plan including the coordination, performance and execution of construction inspection and testing services for the project.

Managing and performing the daily QC responsibilities of specific projects to ensure the project is constructed in accordance with the established minimum standards.

Direct oversight and review of the entire documentation and physical inspection phase of the work flow process and working with other in-house personnel (e.g.: Project Manager, Construction Manager, QA Manager, Site Superintendents, Discipline engineers etc.) and external personnel to produce and document a quality product.

Perform all of the major QC activities required to construct the project at hand and to provide in a timely manner the written documentation described in each project's specific contract documents.

Preparation and Implementation of Quality Control Inspection and Procedures as per project Specifications

and ensure all necessary documentation is available at point-of-use.

Create, update and maintain the project submittal log and all other project specific quality control reports.

Manage and oversee project quality to ensure compliance to codes, standards, regulations, equipment specific specifications, and QMS requirements.

Providing leadership, mentorship, technical and statistical expertise and direction of all QC personnel.

Verify and document that all materials received for the project are in conformance with the approved submittal, are handled and stored appropriately and are acceptable for use in the project.

Tool box meeting with crew involved in the construction work to insure the understanding and compliance of the requirements of the project (applicable standards, sharing experienced knowledge, lesson learned and best practices) before the work start.

Elaborating inspection and test programs and assuring that the quality of the work meets or exceeds the project’s contractual requirements, and maintain the standard of excellence.

Oversee supervision of all visual inspections, documentation and Non-destructive Testing (NDT), including 3rd Party subcontractors.

Supervise Inspectors engaged in inspection and testing activities to ensure high productivity and high technical integrity.

Conduct preparatory, initial and follow-up meetings to establish an understanding of the standards of care desired for each definable feature of work. Verify that checklists are being used and signed off for each and every construction activities and other similar items of work.

Formulate, document and maintain quality control standards and on-going quality control objectives.

Create, document and implement inspection criteria and procedures.

Review and approval of reports of inspection and tests results prepared by QC Inspectors.

Maintain active role on internal Continuous Improvement teams.

Coordinate with the client representative on all quality related matters.

Take immediate remedial to clear inspection logbook comments/pro-actives & close out the NCR’s and relevant logbook entries after the implementation of the recommended corrective actions.

Review work procedures and method statements for compliance with good work practices.

Co-ordinate for all activities in material handling, storage, preservation etc. as to ensure adequate protection & proper storage, handling, & preservation of the materials at store also at site as per the recommendation and standard requirements.
