- Analyzed weak areas of the team and processes. Instilled an SDLC model based around SCRUM concepts but with

heavier systems engineering approach than typical Agile methods. Vetted process with senior management and software

team to get buy-in. Then acted as ‘enforcer’ by implementing component reviews

- Software team supported two different solutions for two business areas. Drafted high-level software architecture for next-

generation M&C software system combining features required by the current two solutions.

- Reorganized team, hired software architect to complete M&C system design

Product Development Manager 2011 to Sep ‘14

- Created this role by presenting to senior management that our product portfolio needed to shift to data-products

- Built a team from scratch to develop data-products including high-rate multi-channel modems, tracking receivers, and

baseband processors. Team successfully designed and deployed VHR-600, VHR-1200, VHR-3200, VTR-4100 digital

modem products operating at rates in excess of 1 Gsps. These products put one competitor out of business and

significantly impeded progress of other competitors.

- Team responsible for over $1M/head in revenue

- Developed and continually maintained roadmap for data-products as well as other business area products

- Managed all aspects of development from concept, prototype, production, and sustaining, to strategic sales. Additionally

managed development and delivery schedules, development budgets, DTUPC, and sustaining budgets.

- Direct Customer interface for new business. Personally won >$7M of business

Project Manager 2009-2011

- Managed EOS programs that required development of products or software. Developed improved Ka-band 5.4m antenna,

and new converter design

- Managed a team of 15 systems engineers shared across multiple business areas. Developed a working group for analysis

tools improvement. Introduced DoD and INCOSE standards
