Western Hemisphere Billing Manager – 5 years Due to past experience within the Intertek framework, I was asked to assume a role in a new project to build a global invoicing and reporting system from the ground up. My role was to ensure the project did not purely become an accounting system but that it also satisfied the requirements of end-users and clients. As the project progressed I was accountable for: System development from inception to going live. Managed all aspects of client billing and reporting, including, training, and audits. Instrumental in roll out of system to North America, Europe and Pacific Rim. Traveled globally in order to train all personnel on the new system. During my tenure in billing the client contracts division was redirected from Sales & Marketing and placed under my management due to the project success. Deer Park Laboratory Technical Center Project – 1 year Assignment to focus on systematic improvement of business processes with the end goal of improving bottom line. Specific tasks included: Restructured the coordination and admin work-flow for operations and laboratory by cutting excessive overtime, controlling collection of monies owed and reassigning employees duties.

Marketing Sales Manager – 7 years In this role, my primary focus of position was the effective and efficient liaison between company and client, to ensure accuracy and understanding of each other’s requirements included all aspects of contract negotiations, scope of services, planning and forecasting, resulting in and time value of money for all parties. Duties included assisting in arranging charter party agreements for over five million barrel in -land barge movements and ten million barrel ocean going vessels on a monthly basis. Review and receive Letters of Credit both documentary and standby prior to issue. Negotiate storage agreements and coordinate blending operations, ensuring all products met contractual specifications in Domestic, Latin America, Caribbean and European tankage. Excellent understanding of import and export documentation requirements including issuing LOI’s, customs entries and duty drawback reconciliation’s.
