•Encores every day at the same time

•Rotating Encores on a 3 day cycle

•Increased instructional time

Middle School

1. Interdisciplinary Teams-Three different subject teachers with the same group of students.

2. Smaller Team Population of Students-Comforting familiarity with classmates and teachers.

3. Rooms Will Be Clustered-Reduces anxiety.

4. Familiar Teachers-Elementary level activities will continue.

Middle School

5. Teachers will be meeting every day to focus on implementing instructional strategies and interventions for each child on their team.

6. Middle schools are exciting!-Teams will provide fun activities.

7. Interdisciplinary teaming provides unlimited potential—Anything is possible!

•This research indicated the positive effect of interdisciplinary teaming and revealed (a) the critical nature of common planning time, (b) teaming improves school climate, (c) teaming increases parent communication, (d) teaming increases job satisfaction, and (e) teaming positively influences student achievement.
