Market Message 331 - Clarification

• MPD10: Market Process for Re-energisation

Per ESBN Smart conference call on 24th February, an inconsistency has been identified

between the v13.00.00 MPD 10 Word Document and the accompanying Visio Diagram

flow. This will be clarified in the re-versioned documentation, to be issued to Market

Participants w/c 16th March.

In the interim, ESB Networks would like to confirm the following:

• For current v12.00.00 Market design:

• Where a QH site is re-energised (existing or new meter), MM106E is

issued to the registered Supplier and to TSO.

• From Go-Live of v13.00.00:

• Where an existing QH meter is re-energised, MM106E will issue to the

registered Supplier and to TSO.

• Where a QH meter is installed at Re-Energisation, MM331 will be issued to

the registered Supplier and to TSO.

Change Summary This DR sets out ESB Networks process for invoicing and collecting PSO money relating to

Commercial Storage units. ESB Networks proposed this manual solution to the CRU in response

to CRU/19/034 on the basis that the number of customers involved are relatively low and that it is

limited in scope i.e. to commercial storage sites only.

ESB Networks will update it owns Embedded Generator application process to include details on

how a commercial storage unit applies for and agrees a house load MIC with ESB Networks.

ESB Networks will contact commercial storage customers who have already made a connection

application and will discuss MIC requirements with those customers.
