General Insurance - Reliance

The general insurance business in India is currently at Rs 78,000 crore (US$ 11.44 billion) premium per annum and is growing at a healthy rate of 17 per cent

Reliance General Insurance has 139 offices and more than 12,000 intermediaries across India

Unlike most competitors, who have foreign partners, the firm is promoted solely by Reliance Capital

Recommendations Based on my experience with Max Bupa – Reliance can also dedicate customer

service staff for each client. This saves customer a lot of time in narrating all the previous conversations and makes him feel “VALUED”

LEAD BUYING – This is from personal experience. I got calls from ICICI, HDFC and a few others after making a query. This should be one major focus area.

With a shifting focus on Marine, Health and Property insurance, we should also be expanding our advertising to cover specific platforms like Magic Bricks, 99 Acres in property, various freight carriers in Marine and Health blogs/sites.

A few sites didn’t have Reliance General products – Wealth Bazaar, Policy Bachat, 5 Paisa Insurance. We should be present everywhere

The major sites are not highlighting Reliance General products. The strategy should focus on them to highlight us with positive customer feedback. ICICI Lombard is being highlighted.
