Lávese bien las manos con agua y jabón.

Disuelva el polvo Cetrotide® únicamente con el aguaque contiene la jeringa precargada. No use la solución Cetrotide® si no es transparente o si contiene partículas.

Retire la tapa plástica de la ampolla. Limpie el anillo de aluminio y la tapa de goma con una toallita con alcohol.

Tome la aguja para la inyección con la marca amarilla y retire la envoltura. Tome la jeringa precargada y retire la tapa. Gire la aguja en la jeringa y retire la tapa de la aguja.

Empuje la aguja a través del centro de la tapa de goma de la ampolla. Inyecte el agua estéril en la ampolla empujando lentamente el émbolo de la jeringa hacia abajo.

Deje la jeringa en la ampolla. Agite suavemente la ampolla hasta que la solución sea transparente y sin residuos. Evite que se formen burbujas durante la disolución.

Retire la jeringa de la aguja y deje a un lado la jeringa.

3. Flip off the plastic cover of the vial.Wipe the aluminum ring and the rubberstopper with an alcohol wipe.

Dissolve Cetrotide® powder only with the water contained in thepre-filled syringe. Do not use a Cetrotide® solution if it containsparticles or if it is not clear.

Indication: Cetrotide® (cetrorelix acetate for injection) is indicated for the inhibition of premature LH surges in women undergoing controlled ovarian stimulation. Cetrotide® should be prescribed by physicians who are experienced in fertility treatment.

Important Risk Information: Contraindications Cetrotide® is contraindicated in women who exhibit hypersensitivity to cetrorelix acetate, mannitol or exogenous peptide hormones, who exhibit prior hypersensitivity to GnRH or any other GnRH analogs, or who are pregnant, or breast-feeding or have kidney disease. Warning and Precautions Ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome (OHSS), with or without vascular and pulmonary complications, can occur with the use of fertility drugs. Adverse Reactions Mild and short lasting injection reactions like reddening, itching and swelling at the injection sites may occur. Nausea and headache have also been reported.
