WHO WE ARE

Reef Knot Ventures (RKV) is an integrated outdoor solutions provider that specializes in camping and adventure, social, cultural and corporate bonding through team building activities, facilitating local tours and travel and offering a one stop shop for a variety of outdoor equipment. We build lasting relationships and work together with our clients to ensure memorable outdoor experiences. Reef Knot Ventures is a private company registered in March 2013 under the Business Names Registration Act of the laws of the Republic of Kenya. It is based in the coastal City of Mombasa.

Founded on an outdoors agenda, Reef Knot Ventures prides itself in being innovative and a championing for the appreciation of integrity nature. Our services are designed to enable our clients enjoy the ultimate experience of life in nature. Through our activities we hope to inspire attitude change about outdoor activities as avenues for appreciating nature, promoting social interaction and enhancing of productivity.

Our founder has immense background in outdoor living spanning over 15 years and has worked with young people in team building, character training and leadership development in Kenya, Africa and beyond. At Reef Knot Ventures, we offer a mix of consultancy, creative interactive techniques and facilitated input to meet our clients' needs in an empowering, focused, fun and memorable way.

Camping is an outdoor recreational activity where people leave the comfort of their homes and enjoy nature while spending one or several nights outdoors in a tent. It is sometimes used as a low cost means of accommodation.

Reef Knot Ventures seeks to provide consultancy services in planning and coordinating camping and other adventurous activities like hiking, mountain climbing and river rafting among others for our clients. We offer advice on the best places to camp as well as what to do while at camp.

Reef Knot Ventures, in a bid to become a one stop shop, hires out, leases and sells a variety of outdoor equipments for camping and adventure among other activities. These equipment include; Tents, Sleeping Bags, Camping Mats, Rucksacks, Utensils, Cooking Equipment, Camping Furniture, Portable, Medical Kits, Flashlights, Workshop Tools and so much more

In our quest to provide experiential leadership and team development, Reef Knot Ventures has developed an innovative Team Building & Training program which focuses on addressing issues affecting team cohesion and performance in the work place or other social groupings.

Our emphasis is on practical skills-learning by doing. The program we design is highly practical in nature, and we only introduce as much theory as is needed to inform the participants. We use both our own established case studies and role plays, or design client specific tools based on the actual issues and tasks the team faces in real life.

These sequential creative problem-solving challenges help teams develop a greater understanding of what it takes to become even more effective. Participants learn more about the powerful relationship between trust, risk, and results. Teams communicate, share and develop ideas, and make decisions to creatively solve challenges in an environment of fun and exploration. Activities are carefully designed to meet identified outcomes for the team. These sessions can be delivered inside or outside, depending on the weather. The debriefing encourages learning, application, and links to the workplace.

Reef Knot Ventures offers custom-made local tours and travel solutions within East Africa. These include Educational Tours for Schools, Colleges, Community and Religious Groups, Holiday Planning for local and international guests and Cultural Tourism – which involves tourists (local or domestic) visiting cultural attractions and participating in diverse cultural activities that are not "sun, sand and sea", during their entire stay in the said community or cultural set up; where they get first hand experience of being a member of that community.

The terms and conditions of our service delivery include the following:

Clients who are interested in our services can contact us any time through our telephone numbers and email address provided below giving clear description of the desired service. Our team commits to respond to your request within 24 hours of receipt on normal working days.

Our pricing policy is based on the premise of quoting competitive and reasonable prices according to the prevailing market rates and conditions. All our prices include the mandatory 16% VAT where applicable and shall remain valid for a period of 60 days from date of quotation.

We are committed to providing timely service of the highest quality possible to exceed the expectations of our clients. With us you can be assured of value for you money.

The services we offer are either supplied by us or our partner Agama Tours Africa. We undertake free deliveries within Mombasa and Nairobi. Reasonable postage and courier charges shall apply to deliveries within other locations both in and outside Kenya.

Upon confirmation of the quoted service, the Client shall be required to deposit a down-payment of 50% of the total cost. The balance can be settled up to a period not exceeding thirty (30) days from date of delivery. Payments can also be negotiated to meet special needs for most of our reputable clients.

We recognize the importance of after sales and back up services. To this end we are committed to follow up with our clients in order to ensure that we identify areas for the continuous improvement of our services. Clients are free to contact us any time with queries and concerns, which shall be addressed as and when they are received.

All the information relating to the services offered to our clients will be securely kept in our database. Reef Knot Ventures is aware of the precious value of intellectual properties of the business concepts of our clients and shall thus adopt a non-disclosure policy to any third party relating to such
