Workshop presentation to California Workforce Association Youth Conference, Jan 2014. Gang violence costs communities their most significant assets – young people. Monterey County led the state in youth homicides for two years. This year, the communi- ty responded. Using Human Centered Design, a broad- based coalition (collective impact model) is creating and testing solutions.TRANSCRIPT
